The Virtual CD Network Management Server is also available now in version 10. Like Virtual CD 10, the latest generation of VCD NMS gives you a variety of enhancements that make it easier than ever to use your Virtual CD installation.
Here are just a few of the new features:
Virtual CD NMS 10 enables optimum integration of existing AD structures. Not only usage and access privileges, but also the allocation of VCD program license codes and licenses to virtual CDs can be allocated directly to AD users and groups.
Virtual CD NMS 10 supports all current Windows operating systems, including Windows 7 on the client side and Windows Server 2008 on the server side.
All of the new functions introduced in Virtual CD 10 are supported in VCD Network Management Server. At the same time, compatibility of NMS with earlier Virtual CD versions has been preserved for trouble-free operation in heterogenous environments.
Like Virtual CD 10, NMS also has a completely revised, intuitive interface that gives you fast and easy access to all the main functions.
Virtual CD NMS 10 supports simultaneous operation on multiple workstations. For example, a Virtual CD network can be administered (virtual CDs inserted, etc.) from several workstations at the same time.
In Version 10, virtual CDs can be grouped for simpler handling of large CD collections. This can be useful, for example, for allocating a single set of user privileges to an entire group of virtual CDs.
