Can't figure out how to use VC10ACvt.exe

I'm trying to convert a .aax file directly to .mp3 using file sound mode. While I used the demo version, this worked perfectly for 30 days. So I decided to purchase the full version. Now the conversion will not complete. So I did as directed under the Knowledgebase which states:

The following tool allows a manual conversion: VC10ACvt.exe
Please copy the FILE to the Virtual CD program subdirectory System.
After executing VC10ACvt you can choose either a track FILE (.000) or a conversion information FILE (.cvi) and then start the conversion.
If possible the complete CD will be converted. Die settings (ouput format, folder for SOUND FILEs etc.) are taken over from the Virtual CD Settings -> Burn.

I did exactly as directed and can't figure out how to complete the task of converting my .aax file to .mp3.

I do not care that the files are split up into multiple folders as others seem to have a problem with. I would just like to see that the full version that I paid for will finish converting the .aax files exaclty as the demo "said" the full version would do.

Please help! Thank you.

How to use VC10ACvt.exe

The demo and the full version are exactly the same (beside the limitations of the demo), so there is no obvious reason on side o Virtual CD why the conversion should work with the demo, but not with the full version anymore. In fact we still have no idea why this happens at all. The track files can be found in C:\Users\...Name...\AppData\Roaming\Virtual CD v10\Temp.

The audio conversion in sound file mode fails or is incomplete.
