I am running Virtual CD 10.7. Updated to Windows 10, now the Editor is gone and it appears my license has disappeared. Now what?
You have to reinstall Virtual CD after upgrading to Windows 10:
Virtual CD does not work properly after upgrading or updating Windows.
I did reinstall VCD after updating to Windows 10. The Editor still does not work. When I try to open the editor, nothing at all happens.
Maybe the Editor starts hidden. Please delete the following registry key:HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\H+H Software GmbH\Virtual CD 10\Virtual CD EditorNow the Editor should open as expected.
If I reinstall, the editor will work the first time it is opened. After than, trying to open editor has no effect. If I delete the registry key, still cannot open Editor. If I uninstall and reinstall, Editor works again, for one time.
When starting the Editor a 2nd time, is the task VC10Edit.exe visible in the Task Manager or is the process mssing (crashing). If the latter is the case, are there any messages regaing the Editor in the Windows Event Log?
