Trying to create an ISO

I have a number of old Broderbund Living Books games and I have just discovered SCUMM which allows me to play them with my Grandchildren. To make life easy I have been making an ISO image in Virtual CD to mount and this has worked really well. However one game called Ruff's Bone won't create as an ISO. The analysys reports itself as a Mixed mode CD and when I set the copy template to "v10 - ISO-copy" I don't get an ISO it defaults to vc4. Is it not possible to get ISOs in this case?

Mixed mode CDs

Mixed mode CDs are not ISO compatible, that's why you can't create an ISO image with Virtual CD - it simply wouldn't work. Virtual CD automatically creates a normal virtual CD instead, regardless which copy mode is set, in order to make sure that the image will work.

Thanks. Is there a way of creating an ISO from just the game part of the CD?

Virtual CD Editor

You can try to create an ISO image with the Virtual CD Editor, but maybe the image won't work as the complete content of the mixed mode CD may be be required to play the game.
