Virtual CD Terminal Server (TS) expands your terminal server with the features of a hardware-based CD server. Virtual CD TS is the only software in the world that provides virtual CD/DVD/Blu-ray drives in terminal server sessions. Virtual CD TS saves you the purchase of physical CD/DVD drives as well as the costs and expensive maintenance of a CD-ROM server. Every user can access up to 23 different virtual media at the same time. The number of virtual CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray discs in the network is unlimited.

Virtual CD TS can optionally provide virtual burners for your users. These are virtual drives that can be operated like physical CD burners using any CD-writing program, so you can create virtual CDs, DVDs and Blu-Rays from within other applications.

Transparency

As system administrator you can set individual graduated usage rights to virtual CDs/DVDs and drive letters with Virtual CD TS. You can also use profiles, for example to define the environments each user is presented with when a terminal server session is started (e.g., pre-inserted CDs/DVDs, drive letters, etc.). Virtual CD TS also supports Active Directory for these configurations. All settings can be defined with a click of the mouse, and can be changed as needed.
