An older Virtual CD version is installed on the PC where the Virtual CD Client setup is executed on the computer where the Client Setup was generated.
If you update the Virtual CD with an online patch before you create the Client Setup, the necessary files for the Client Setup are not updated.
For technical reasons only an installation of the Vollversion can create the Client Setup.
Solution:
Virtual CD v8 and higher: Please first install the most current full setup of Virtual CD over your download link. After the first download this link is valid for 7 days.

Virtual CD v6 and v7: If you want to utilize the Client Setup, please first install the newest full version Virtual CD v6.0.0.7 bzw. Virtual CD v7.1.0.2.
