RPC Stub error when installing Virtual CD under Windows 98

The following error might be reported when you install Virtual CD under Windows 98: Error 0x80070725: Incompatible version of the RPC stub.

This refers to an incompatible system file.

• Please download the latest VB Runtime 6 from Microsoft, at:
  http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=http://download.microsoft.com/download/vb60pro/install/6/Win98Me/EN-US/VBRun60.exe 
• Extract the file, under DOS, to a temp directory: 
  vbrun60.exe /T: /C 
• Still working under DOS, copy the oleaut32.dll file from the above temp directory to your Windows\System directory. 
• Restart your computer.

An even simpler solution is to install a patch now available from Microsoft: http://download.microsoft.com/download/msninvestor/Patch/1.0/WIN98/EN-US/mcrepair.EXE. Do allow newer files to be overwritten when installing this patch.
