Internal Communications error

Latest VirtualCD installation generates the error message - Internal Communications Error (VirtualCD error code 17) An internal communications error occured while attempting to execute function.

This error is generated whenever I try and add any image (ISO) into the virtual CD Drive.

Been using the software since v7, and has always been excellent, and now I am unable to use it.

Operating system: Windows 7, 64 bit

Hello Steven,
Please check if the service “Virtual CD Management Service” is started.

right click on „My copmuter“ => Manage => Service

There is no such service in the list

VirtualCD error code 17

The service is needed by Virtual CD.
If the service is not there, Virtual CD does not run.

Please uninstall Virtual CD and install it again after a restart of the PC.
Please make sure that you are logged in as administrator.

Complete uninstall, reboot and reinstall did the trick.
