The Virtual CD support forum

Answers:

File naming

I purchased VCD10 and having been using it to convert protected iTunes music. It works quite nicely except for the m3u/CD txt conversion. When I convert a playlist of protected music, it does not convert all of the tag information. For example, the playlists name becomes the album name. How can I ensure that all of the tag information comes across properly into the mp3 music file?

File naming

Please check following settings:
Virtual CD Control Center => Settings => Burn => Defaults for automatic naming of sound files

File naming

I have already tried every variation and combination possible of title, track, album, artist, including none. The problem is that the program is choosing to read the playlist as the album and it also assigns the track number within the playlist instead of assigning the real track number of the song in the album. This is a problem with how virtual CD reads the CD text.

File naming

Virtual CD does not support extended-m3u files.
What happens when you are selecting “Include CD Text”, when you are burning from iTunes?

File naming

The CD text setting in iTunes is the one I use.
