Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

I have been running VC10 for well over a year and now I am starting to get the error. Runtime Error! Program: C:\Program Files\Virtual CD V10\System\VC10Build.exe This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual Way. I have checked on the forum and unchecked the DBBC box and also reinstalled Microsoft 2005 C++. Thank you

Dear Mr Eckard,

We need more information to pinpoint the problem because we don't know what has been changed on your computer:

Is "Runtime Error! Program: C:\Program Files\Virtual CD V10\System\VC10Build.exe This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual Way" the exact wording of the error message or do you get an error number, too?

Which operation system does your computer have?

Could you please deinstall Virtual CD v10, reboot your computer and install Virtual CD v10 once more?

Best regards

Yes those are the exact words from the message I am getting on the screen. I am using Windows XP SP3. I just trying uninstalling and reinstalled as instructed I still get the same error.

And what has been changed on your computer?

Aside from just the standard windows updates nothing. What happens when I try to make an image it counts out to 3 hours and then after being at 3 hours for a few minutes then I get that message. I have tried other disks thinking maybe one was bad and it happens to all of them.

I found out the problem my port went bad on my gigabit swich on the second floor. So my switch in the basement was negotiating back to 100mbs. Once I changed ports everything is back up and running and putting cd's on my server. Thank you
