The License view is an additional view that can be displayed in place of the Administration view. To open the License view, select the Virtual CD NMS page in the Ribbon and click on CD licenses in the Analysis tab. A menu opens giving you a choice of License views:

 

 

Show licensed virtual CDs

Shows only virtual CDs for which a number of licenses has been specified:

 

 

Show all virtual CDs

Shows all virtual CDs. The table shows whether and which type of licenses have been entered, and the number of licenses in use:

 

 

If no licensing has been assigned for a virtual CD, no number is shown (-) . If a zero (0) was entered, the virtual CD is locked.

 

Evaluation of licenses

Shows all denials of access to virtual CDs:

 

 

Which commands are available in the shortcut menu depends on which License view is shown:

 

Properties. Shows the properties of a virtual CD. You can enter the number of licenses in the Properties window.

Reset license. Resets the license for the selected virtual CD.

Print. Prints the distribution and usage of licenses.

Details. Shows details on denials of access to a virtual CD.

Export. Exports the denials of access to a CSV file, which you can process, for example, in Microsoft Excel.

Distribute scripts. Executes a VB script on the selected station.
